Document ID Methodology

Each document contains a unique code. Above, the codes prefix the names of the document. The code is composed of three parts: the Department Segment (which, for our purposes, is always LIB), the Document Type (which are defined below), and the Document Serial (which increments once per document, per Document Segment). Below are the various Document Types:
